Wild in the Woods CIC

Reconnecting people with nature and each other through wonder, curiosity & natural learning

BUSHCRAFT * WILDLIFE * CAMPFIRE COOKING * NATURE CRAFTS * OUTDOOR PLAY

Connecting with nature through woodland adventures, wildlife, bushcraft activities and curiosity in play.

Created out of a passion for the great outdoors, Wild in the Woods aims to deliver enriching, engaging sessions that allow people to explore and feel free in nature.

Our woodland site

Based just outside Lincoln, our site offers play-based adventures like fishing in the lake, relaxing in hammocks, exploring the treehouse, and enjoying Adventure Island with den building and a mud kitchen. There’s also a campfire for cooking snacks and hot drinks. Inside the tipi, you'll find books, art, microscopes, and a small world area for younger children.

Testimonials

Prison inmates spend more time outdoors than the average UK child. Only 22% of children can recognise a badger. Mental health illnesses in children and young people (as well as adults) are on the rise. We all need regular opportunities to experience, explore, engage in, and understand the wild world around us.
