Our Sessions
Wild & Free
Fridays, 10am - 12noon
Our Wild & Free sessions are fully inclusive and open to all — whether your child is home-educated or plans to attend school. Designed for ages 0-14, these sessions offer nature-based learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
Each week, children can:
Cook over an open fire
Take part in two seasonal, skill-building nature activities
Play freely across our unique site — feed fish at the lake, relax in hammocks, explore our treehouse, or get messy in the mud kitchen on Adventure Island
Our cosy tipi provides extra opportunities for learning and creativity, with books, an art area, microscopes, and a space for younger children.
We encourage parents to join in with activities or simply relax by the fire with a hot drink and like-minded adults - children must be supervised (from a distance) at all times.
Children can also choose to work towards a monthly badge — entirely optional and child-led.
Free for children under 8 months and siblings under 12 months.
Run Wild
Every other Saturday, 10am - 12noon
Looking for weekend adventures? Run Wild is our Saturday morning version of Wild & Free, taking place every other week. It offers the same joyful mix of nature play, outdoor cooking, seasonal activities, and child-led exploration — perfect for families who can’t make weekday sessions or just want more time in the woods. Come run wild with us and start your weekend in the best way: outdoors, together.
Wild Tots
Mondays, 10am - 12noon
Designed especially for little ones, our Wild Tots sessions are perfect for children from birth to age five. Each week is themed around a beautiful nature-inspired book, with engaging play-based activities set up to explore the story’s ideas in fun, hands-on ways.
Children can cook a snack on the fire, enjoy a read-aloud story, and play freely around our site — from mud kitchens and den building to woodland walks, tunnels, fish-feeding at the lake, and relaxing in hammocks. Inside the tipi, there are cosy corners for sharing books, drawing and painting, or exploring with microscopes and binoculars. Hot and cold drinks are available for both children and grown-ups.
Come connect, play, and discover — all at your child’s pace, surrounded by nature.
Wild Women
Second Friday in the month, 6.30 - 8.30pm
Come gather with other women around the fire for an evening of connection, creativity, and calm. Wild Women is a space to slow down, tune in, and honour yourself — in nature, together.
Begin the session with a nourishing snack and drink inspired by nature, then follow your own rhythm: take part in a seasonal craft, sway in a hammock, or simply soak up the stillness by the lake.
As the fire burns, you’re warmly invited to join our women’s circle — a safe, nurturing space to share thoughts, stories, and experiences without judgment. Whether you're carrying emotional, mental, or physical weight, this is a place to be held and heard. Participation is always optional; if you choose to continue crafting or enjoy solitude, we simply ask that you honour the quiet of the circle.
Our circle is gently guided by Kerry, who has been part of women’s circles for over a decade:
"When my second child was born, I joined a monthly women’s circle. It was a game changer — that time each month for self-care and reflection was truly priceless."
Women, especially mothers, often pour endlessly into others. Wild Women is a reminder to pour a little back into yourself — in the company of sisters who understand the unspoken needs of women.
Holiday Sessions
Holiday clubs & family session - school holidays
Drop off your wild ones with us to make memories and learn new skills and wildlife knowledge, or join us as a family in the woods.
These sessions offer the same joyful mix of nature play, outdoor cooking, seasonal activities, and child-led exploration, so let your wild ones come run free!
Snacks around the fire are provided, but for the holiday clubs they will need to bring a packed lunch, a drink, and a change of clothes (they might get very muddy!).
Still Wild
First & third Saturday, 3.30 - 6pm
Still Wild is our dedicated space for teens to explore, create, and connect — all while staying rooted in nature. Meeting every first and third Saturday teatime of the month, these sessions offer a mix of adventure, skill-building, and space to just be.
Whether they’re clearing ground for our new pizza oven, helping finish the site waterfall, or cooking soup and bread over the fire, our teens are hands-on and making their mark. There’s always something going on — and digging is optional!
Sessions include a mix of:
Practical projects like outdoor cooking and site building
Nature walks and woodland wandering
Fire circles and real conversations
Plenty of time to hang out, relax, and enjoy the space together
Our Still Wild group is steadily growing, and this summer promises even more — including our first teen camp, a group hike, and more wild adventures in the works.
Encourage your teens to come along, meet like-minded others, and spend time outdoors in a space that’s theirs. It’s a great way to unwind, build confidence, and learn new skills — all while being part of something they help shape.
